Rules

Short version: money buys a rank, traffic buys a crown, and nothing is refundable.

Bidding

  • New spots start at $1. Whole dollars only, no cents.
  • To pass someone you need at least $1 more than they paid. Ties go to whoever paid first.
  • Bidding less than #1 still puts you on the board — at whatever place that amount lands.
  • Already listed? Enter the same URL and raise your bid. You are only charged the difference: at $1,200 aiming for $1,501, you pay $301.

The 2× cap

The most you can bid right now is twice the current #1, with a $20 floor when the board is quiet.

Without it, someone jumps from $1,500 to $10,000, nobody bothers outbidding them, and the war is over. The cap keeps the top reachable. Hit it and you get told: Max bid right now is $X. Leave room for a fight.

The two boards

  • The Shelf ranks by what you paid. Biggest wallet wins.
  • The Steal ranks by cost per click — what you paid divided by the clicks you brought in. Cheapest wins. Someone who paid $3 can beat someone who paid $2,000.
  • The Steal needs 50 clicks to qualify. Below that you show as X / 50 clicks to qualify.
  • Clicks are counted on the server, deduplicated per visitor per day. Refreshing your own card does nothing.

What we do to your URL

  • Forced to https, www. dropped, trailing slash removed, lowercased.
  • Every query parameter is stripped — otherwise two people pay for the same page with different ?utm= tags and show up twice.
  • Link shorteners are followed and replaced by their destination.
  • X and Twitter links collapse to @handle.
  • App Store, Play Store and GitHub keep their path, so two different apps never share one bid.
  • Everything else collapses to the domain. One site, one listing.

What never gets on

  • Messaging and invite links: Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal.
  • Adult content.
  • Affiliate and tracking links. Link the real destination.
  • Anything on the house blocklist.

Money

All payments are final. No refunds.

You are buying a position on a leaderboard that anyone can outbid a second later. That is the whole game. If that is not what you want, do not pay.

Payments run through Stripe. We never see your card. Your email comes from the Stripe receipt and is used to tell you when you have been outbid — nothing else.
